The Land of 1000 caves

Around the charming Judean lowlands, in the area where Samson fell in love with Delilah, there lies close to a thousand caves hidden beneath the surface! These caves, quarried some 2000 years ago, had different uses such as - oil presses, dovecotes, hideaways, burial areas, and more. On our tour we’ll visit Bet-Guvrin national park, a UNESCO world heritage site distinguished as a unique microcosm of "the land of the caves", and explore this amazing world. Afterwards, we will arrive in Tel Azeka, a beautiful observation point which overlooks the arena of the famous biblical battle between David and Goliath 3000 years ago. We'll end with a visit to a boutique winery, where we'll enjoy different tastes of wine made from the grapes of the numerous local vineyards that surround the area.
