Spotting a female tour guide in Israel is pretty rare - you won't see many of us. Why? Probably because the responsibilities of home and kids often fall to moms.
I am proud to be both a tour guide and a mom, and thanks to the support of my husband and family – we make it work! Sometimes, if a tour takes me far from home, my husband and kids join me at the hotel and stay overnight. Spending the evening with them is a wonderful way to unwind after a day of guiding. Not to mention, it's an opportunity for my travelers and family to spend time together, enjoying one another's company. As for me, finding that work-life balance is an ongoing journey. During my army service, I served as an infantry instructor, which instilled in me the love for guiding as well as being outdoors. Afterwards, I spent two amazing years in the tour guiding course to become a licensed tour guide, and now hold a diploma from the Ministry of Tourism.
Later, I earned a B.A. and M.A. at Haifa University in History of the Land of Israel.

Israel's diversity, culture, people, archaeology and history continue to amaze and inspire me every time I guide. Every time I lead a group or individual, the people make the trip meaningful and interesting for me all over again.
