Guided tour of Qumran, Ein Gedi springs and the Dead sea
We'll start our tour at the archaeological site of Qumran in the Judean Desert. Here there once lived the mysterious sect who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls, some 2000 years ago. Hear the unbelievable story of how one Bedouin shepherd happened upon these scrolls by shear accident, as he wandered through the area with his flock of sheep. From there we will continue to Ein Gedi Nature Reserve where we’ll enjoy the cool fresh water of this magical desert oasis that is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible! The day finishes with rest and relaxation as we’ll float our worries away in the Dead Sea. Revitalize your body and mind here with the healing properties of the mineral-rich sea while taking in the breathtaking view of the Moab Mountains.
