Carmel Market food tour:

I invite you to join me on a journey through the Israeli kitchen with the authentic flavors of the colorful Carmel Market and its neighboring Yemenite Quarter. Among the peeling, sandstone houses built over a hundred years ago hide a few of Tel Aviv's best culinary gems. Pick up some hot Yemenite pita bread, then check out everything from an outstanding hummus eatery (founded in 1937), to the trendier food stands offering boutique Israeli beers and fusion dishes that combine all of Israel's delicious cultures including Georgian, Moroccan, Polish and Libyan. The Market is full of surprises and I’m here to discover them with you.
Let's explore those little stories behind this cornucopia while meeting interesting characters along the way.
